Yakult Will Discontinue Orange Flavour In July 2026, Peach Flavour To Replace It

Yakult is replacing the orange flavour with a new peach flavour

Original, Grape, Green Apple, Orange—long ago, the four flavours lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when Yakult attacked.

If you’ve been keeping up with the news, you may have heard that the iconic probiotic drink brand is phasing out its Orange flavour from July 2026, much to the chagrin of Orange loyalists. It marks the first major change to Yakult’s flavour lineup since the brand entered Singapore in 1979.

For fans who grew up with Orange Yakult, this feels a little like the end of an era.

Yakult Singapore’s managing director Masaaki Sunami explained the decision to The Straits Times:

“We understand that some consumers may miss the orange flavour, especially those who have enjoyed it for many years. However, we believe the peach option offers a strong alternative and are encouraged by its success in other countries.”

Filling the void is the new Peach Flavour, which you can see in the picture above. While we can’t comment on how it tastes just yet, this new rendition has a lot to live up to, considering how the Orange flavour was a part of many people’s childhoods.

There’s still time to enjoy the Orange Flavour, so drop by your nearest supermarket to get your hands on some. Who knows if we’ll ever see this flavour on our shores again? It’s hard to say whether we’ll ever see this flavour on our shores again—make the most of it while it lasts!
