(Update, 17.7.2020: The 1-for-1 drinks have been fully redeemed.)
Since opening up its first outlet at Tampines in October 2017, Playmade has been setting up shop all across the island with 11 stalls. Its latest outlet is at Westgate. The stall will be located at the first floor and replaces U+CHA, another bubble tea joint as well.Â
To celebrate its opening, Playmade will be having a 1-for-1 promotion on five of their most popular drinks. The drinks will come in large sizes and customers will get to mix and match from Taiwan Milk Tea, Chrysanthemum Milk Tea, Honey Green Tea, Yakult Green Tea, and Orange Pulp Green Tea. Take note that the complimentary item will be of lower or equal value to the most expensive drink ordered.
Orders have to be placed on PlayMade’s website and have to be picked up at an allocated time.Â
No experience at Playmade will be complete without a mouthful of their tasty pearls. The chain is well known for its uniquely flavoured pearls that come in interesting flavours such as black sesame, burnt caramel, and chrysanthemum. Drinkers will need to top up $1.50 for the addition of these pearls.Â
I’m a fan of their black sesame pearls, which give off a subtle nuttiness that goes quite nicely with the milky drinks on offer. Those who prefer something more subtle can go for the chrysanthemum pearls that give off a light floral essence.Â
The promotion will only be valid from today till 19 July 2020, so it’s a good time to pop by soon to grab a cup! Â
If you’re still in the hunt for more food deals, be sure to check out the 1-for-1 Haagen Daz double scoop and McDonald’s Cinnamon Melt promotion.
