7-Eleven has been generating some buzz lately, especially with the Oreo cream puffs and Hong Qi peach and mango ice cream. On top of these popular treats, you may have also seen a smoothie machine that went viral on TikTok in Japan. With just the push of a button, this smoothie machine blends fresh fruits to create a refreshing drink in less than a minute.

In collaboration with Smooder, a homegrown smoothie brand, Singapore’s 7-Eleven outlets now offer a similar fuss-free experience of enjoying freshly blended smoothies on the go.

There are four fruit flavours to choose from: strawberry banana, lychee, mango, and pineapple. Each smoothie costs $4.50 and comes in a cup about the size of a grande cup from Starbucks.

After choosing your smoothie flavour, simply peel off the plastic top, scan the QR code with the machine, and place your cup in the holder. Press the button and the machine immediately gets to work to whip up your delicious smoothie.

Among the four flavours, a collective favourite was Cheeky Lychee, which features lychee, blueberry, mango, and yoghurt. This refreshing treat is perfect for those seeking relief from Singapore’s merciless heat.

For something sweet and sour, opt for Strawnana instead, which is a blend of strawberries, banana, and yoghurt.

If you like anything with strawberries, you’ll enjoy this smoothie as you get more of the strawberry flavour while the banana taste takes a backseat.

You can’t go wrong with Mango Tango, a classic concoction of mango, banana, and yoghurt for a rich and creamy smoothie. The mango flavours weren’t too cloying, making it a perfect treat if you prefer milder flavours.

Green Pine Colada combines pineapples, spinach, banana, and yoghurt for a forest-green smoothie mix. This drink had a refreshing tang from the pineapples, and the spinach added a subtle earthy bitterness that lingered.

All smoothies here are made with natural ingredients and no added sugar, so you don’t have to worry about having any artificial sweeteners added to your drink.
