Founded just two years ago, Yi Man Fen has grown to more than 90 outlets across 14 Chinese cities, earning a loyal following for its handcrafted sweet soups, shaved ice desserts, and tea-based beverages. Here’s what fans can expect at their upcoming 313 Somerset outlet.

One of the brand’s signature desserts is the Grand Slam 100 ($5.80), a hearty bowl featuring fresh milk, grass jelly, peach gum, white lotus seeds, red beans, and chewy handmade sweet potato balls.

Another bestseller is the Grassava 100 ($5.80), which pairs brown sugar cassava with snow fungus, corn germ, peach gum, handmade sweet potato and taro balls, and the brand’s signature giant bursting taro balls, finished with a drizzle of fresh milk.

Meanwhile, beverage options include the Heart Peach Gum ($7.20), Whole Loquat Iced Tea ($6.20), and the eye-catching Dubai Chocolate Squeeze Cocoa ($7.20).

If you’re craving something refreshing, opt for the Mango Snowy ($5.80). This icy dessert combines seasonal Keitt mangoes with Shaanxi-style black glutinous rice balls, served over shaved ice and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

One thing that sets Yi Man Fen apart is its commitment to preparing everything from scratch. According to the brand, every dessert base and tea brew is slow-simmered fresh in-store each day, without using pre-made flavour bases or artificial flavourings. Instead, the desserts rely on carefully sourced ingredients such as Jianning lotus seeds, Suizhou peach gum, premium white fungus, and red beans from northeast China.
