Baker’s Brew Has CNY Goodies Such As Pineapple Bak Kwa And Hae Bee Hiam Cookies In Collectible Fortune Cat Tins

Baker’s Brew CNY goodies 2022

Homegrown bakery Baker’s Brew is constantly upping the ante for their CNY goodies range. If you want to wow the relatives with snacks that are as unique as they are moreish, then get your hands on the brand’s Fortune Cat Collection ASAP.

The collection stars five different snacks—three Baker’s Brew bestsellers, and two new creations—all housed in highly collectable tins with quirky Fortune Cat art. These reinvent the old-school CNY snack tins with a peekaboo window, making them cool with Singaporean-inspired lucky cat designs.

All snacks are priced at $27.80 each.

Those new to Baker’s Brew’s CNY goodies must try their Ondeh Ondeh Cookies, a spin on pineapple tarts, but with a buttery, pandan-flavoured crust and a gula melaka coconut filling.

These taste so close to the beloved nyonya kueh, but offer a melt-in-your-mouth bite for a contrast that keeps you going back to the tin for more.

OG pineapple tart fans can try two different options on the Baker’s Brew menu: their Pineapple Bak Kwa Cookies, or their Pineapple Pillows.

The former is a savoury-sweet remix of the traditional pineapple tart, where a buttery biscuit circles a pineapple filling, laced with bak kwa bits. The bak kwa doesn’t overpower the pineapple, but instead adds a welcome, smoky oomph that definitely will pique fans of sweet-savoury food combos.

The latter is a classic pineapple tart, but elevated. Each Pineapple Pillow comes with a butter-and-cheese pastry, rolled around a filling made with premium Thai pineapple paste.

These fruits are packed with tons of natural sweetness, but the tarts are actually made with less sugar for guilt-free snacking.

Add to your pineapple tart order by getting some cookies. There’s the popular Peanut Almond Cookies, beloved for their crumbly texture and pronounced nuttiness.

Otherwise, try the all-new Hae Bee Hiam Cookies, a notch up from the usual hae bee rolls. These are not shy on the spice, and come packed with oodles of umami hae bee goodness.

If all the snacks sound good and you can’t choose, Baker’s Brew is also releasing a complete set of all its CNY goodies in the Fortune Cat Collection. The bundle of five tins is priced at $128.

On top of the snacks, Baker’s Brew is also offering discounts on your order! Get 8% off when you order online with the code ‘CNY2022’, or when you shop at any Baker’s Brew outlet before 21 January.
