Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium’s in-house Atrium Restaurant is known for their halal buffet spread, comprising local and international dishes.
From now till 1 September 2024, enjoy 1-for-1 at their Singapore Food Fare 2024 buffet, available for lunch and dinner! What’s more, DBS, Maybank, and Citibank credit card holders get to enjoy 50% off their bill. This means prices start from just $47++ per adult (U.P. $94++) if you’re here for weekday lunch.
With a variety of over 40 dishes, definitely go for their Roasted Cumin Whole Baby Lamb with Peanut Sauce, served with steam lontong rice and condiments, exclusively available for weekday dinner. Otherwise, there’s Roasted Beef Rib Eye with Condiments at the carving station, alongside live stations serving Chef’s Signature Singapore Laksa and freshly made prata. Those visiting for dinner can also look forward to a barbecue corner with local delights such as Fish Otak-Otak and Sambal Squid.

If you love Penang fare, don’t miss out on the Penang Heritage Weekend Feast at Princess Terrace, an underrated restaurant at Copthorne King’s Hotel. The special dinner buffet runs from Friday to Sunday, from 6pm to 9:30pm. It’s usually priced at $78++ per adult, but you can snag a “Dine for 4 and Pay for 3” deal for a limited time, which means you’re only paying $58.50++ per person! If you want to dine on a different day, Princess Terrace also offers daily lunch and dinner buffets worth checking out.
On to the food: this isn’t your run-of-the-mill buffet lineup. Instead, you’ll find a curated selection of both popular and lesser-seen heritage dishes that have been around since the 1970s. Highlights include Lobster Hokkien Mee Soup, Signature Penang Char Kway Teow, and
Ark Thui Mee Sua: braised Silver Hill Irish Duck drumstick with vermicelli in Chinese herbal soup. You’ll also find Penang Lok Lok, Too Tor Tn’ng AKA pig stomach soup, along with live stations serving up unlimited portions of Penang Laksa, Nonya Kueh Pie Tie and more. To cap off the feast, check out the array of old-school desserts, including Bubur Cha Cha, Homemade Fine Beancurd, and Crispy Ban Chang Kueh Pancake filled with peanut, durian, or sweet corn.

While seafood buffets are usually the domain of lavish hotel restaurants, the affordably priced spread at TungLok Seafood is a great option if you’re not looking to break the bank.
Their a la carte Seafood Lunch Buffet starts from $49.80++, and offers delicacies including Salmon Sashimi, Chilled Jellyfish with Pomelo Sauce, and Deep-fried Sea Bass with Light Soy Sauce. There’s also free-flow dim sum and some mouthwatering Steamed Oyster with Garlic and Vermicelli, limited to one serving per table.
The seafood buffets are only available at the Orchard Central and Paya Lebar Quarter Mall outlets.

The braised items are all superb: whether it be pig trotters or pork belly, their robust braising and savouriness make them perfect porridge companions. There’s also a decent selection of fresh seafood dishes, including dory fish and prawns.

If a dozen or so lok lok skewers is not enough for you, then head on down to a lok lok buffet such as A.K Zai Lok Lok. For $19.90+ per person, you get to binge on more than 50 types of lok lok, which can either be enjoyed fried or grilled.
