Entering the scene with a bang is new entrant Kaarla Restaurant & Bar, awarded New Restaurant of the Year. Centrally located in Raffles Place, this mod-Australian restaurant serves delicious lunch sets at $52++ for two courses, and $67++ for three—perfect for business meals and quick catchups with friends. If you’re visiting for dinner instead, splurge on their Market Menu ($160++ per person), with highlights such as Salt Cured Kangaroo and Australian Market Oyster. If there’s one place you must head to, it’s Fat Cow, which has won Restaurant of the Year for five years in a row. Weekend brunch gets an upgrade at Wild Honey, known for their extensive all-day dining menu. This ‘Brunch Spot of the Year’ serves classic brekkie mains such as the English ($29++): streaky bacon, pork and fennel sausage, house-baked beans and more, paired with their signature brioche and eggs cooked to your preference.
