10 Best Smash Burger Spots In Singapore From $8.50

Best smash burgers in Singapore

As a big fan of juicy burgers, I used to have my reservations about smash burgers, as I never expected them to be just as satisfying as their thicker counterparts. That was until I tried a few for myself, which completely changed my perception. While they may lack thickness, they more than make up for it with their deeply caramelised crusts and intense, beefy flavour. Here are a few of the best smash burger spots in Singapore that prove that, when done right, smash burgers can be just as delicious as the classics.

1. SMASH By BurgerLabo

You may be familiar with gourmet burger hotspot BurgerLabo and their famous Basic Burger, but you should not miss out on their sister outlet SMASH by BurgerLabo, tucked away in a food court in Raffles City Shopping Centre. Here, you will find a much more affordable alternative to their usual offerings, without compromising on the same level of quality they are known for.

With a no-frills menu offering only a handful of options, the classic pick is their SMASH! Burger ($9.80 for a single patty, $12.80 for double), built around grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef patties, sandwiched between soft potato buns and topped with cheese, house-made shio kombu sauce, and pickled red onions. You can also opt for the Fried Chicken Burger ($11.70), featuring crispy fried chicken coated in confit garlic mayo, complemented by salted cabbage and pickled cucumber for a bright, tangy crunch.

Address: 252 North Bridge Road, #03-15/17 Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore 179103
Opening hours: Daily 10am to 9.30pm

2. Swag & Sizzle

If you didn’t already realise by now, some of the best burgers are often hidden in hawker stalls— Swag & Sizzle is a prime example. Helmed by two former executive chefs from the prominent French restaurant L’Entrecote, their stall is tucked away in a coffee shop in the CBD.

While their curated menu offers other options such as the Chicken Roulade ($11.90) and Hanger Steak ($21.90), their Smash Burger ($14.90) has drawn rave reviews from customers. It features two beef patties sandwiched between house-made brioche buns, elevated with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, and topped with bacon jam and spicy tartare for an extra kick. That spice paired extremely well with the juicy and crisp patties, and being served with fries and salad makes it a great deal.

3. Smash Street

One name that has been dominating headlines lately is Smash Street at Amoy Street, a burger spot you’ve probably seen all over your social media feeds. Opened by the team behind the popular neighbouring pasta bar, Scarpetta, the burger joint drew massive crowds during its launch. The opening promotion, featuring a giveaway of a whopping 1,000 free burgers, saw queues stretching up to four and a half hours long.

But even if you were not one of the lucky 1,000, their burgers have been well-received and are worth every buck. You can tell they are confident in their offerings when their menu has only two choices—the Classic ($14++), featuring two smash patties with cheese, or the House ($17++), which lets you add an extra patty. Free add-ons include pickles and jalapenos, while you can top up $2++ for onion relish or $3++ for a slice of bacon. They also serve sides such as Chicken Poppers ($10) with chilli crunch aioli, Fries ($6), and Onion Rings ($6).

4. Smashed

The third and final entry with “Smash” in their name is Smashed, which you may have seen at various bazaars around the island. Their burgers proved so popular that what was once a temporary kiosk has now become a permanent store on Baghdad Street. Inspired by an unexpected visit to a smash burger spot in London, the team aims to bring those flavours to local diners.

Smashed has a slightly more extensive menu compared to the other options, featuring seven choices, including the Double Classic Smashed ($14.90++), Double House Smashed ($14.90++), and Double Bacon Smashed ($15.90++). For a wildcard option, try the Samyang Smashed ($13.90++). Elevate your meal with their range of interesting dips beyond the usual House Ranch ($1.50++) and Smashed Sauce ($1.50++), with unique options such as the Green Hulk ($1.50++), which carries a minty flavour profile, and Ironman Sauce ($1.50++), a spicy and savoury blend, are perfect if you want to add a different dimension to your burger.

5. Ye Olde Cow

Munching on a freshly made smashed burger from a food truck makes you feel like you’re in America—and that’s exactly the experience Ye Olde Cow delivers. While you have to keep an eye on their weekly truck schedule on their website, you can typically find them outside lyf One-north.

The burgers here are on the pricier side, but they offer standout options like the Classic ($20), featuring double smashed patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and house burger sauce—touted as “the one most people come back for.” The OG ($20) and Traditional ($20) use the same patties with different sauces—the OG has house mayo, while the Traditional comes with mustard and ketchup on top. For a different twist, try the Moozarella ($16), which is centred around grilled mozzarella, pickles, tomatoes, and aioli.

6. Burgs

One of the most prominent names in Singapore’s burger scene, Burgs has been around the block since May 2017, when it started as a humble hawker stall in Golden Mile Food Centre. After a little over a year’s hiatus, the brand made its return in 2025 with a two-storey shophouse in Bugis, much to the delight of its loyal fans.

For those smashed patties, go for The Original ($11++), topped with crispy shallots, American cheese, sweet pickled chillies, and finished with their signature sauce. If you’re after something more indulgent, The Bae Con ($13.90++) takes things up a notch with the addition of bacon and honey mustard. You can also add additional patties for $3.90++. Their sides are worth a look too, with Burgs’ Signature Cheese Fries ($5.90++) and Nuggies Kicap Manis ($6.90++) being popular picks among regulars.

7. The Only Burger

Those in the east can get their burger fix from The Only Burger, located within Happy Hawkers, a coffeeshop in Tampines. Previously a home-based business during the pandemic, the stall has since built a strong following for the quality of its offerings and its wide variety of chicken and beef burgers, alongside other Western dishes and sides.

The Smash Beef ($8.50 for a single patty, $11.50 for double) is one of the more popular items on the menu. It features their T.O.B beef patty, sliced cheese, onions, pickles, and a drizzle of their T.O.B spicy mayo. Alternatively, the Oklahoma Beef ($9.50 for a single patty, $12.50 for double) is another crowd favourite, built on the same patty with double sliced cheese, tomato, and cabbage, then piled high with coated fried onions and finished with a generous drizzle of three different T.O.B homemade sauces.

8. Naga House

Not many would expect a bar along Clarke Quay to serve up a proper smash burger, but Naga House does exactly that. A well-known Japanese-inspired dual-concept space, it operates as a cafe by day and a vibrant bar by night. With the kitchen typically serving dinner till about 9pm, the spotlight falls on their well-received Smash Onion Burger ($22++), which has earned high praise from guests.

Look forward to a flavour-packed burger with double wagyu patties, dill pickles, american cheese, finished off with crispy onions and burger sauce, guaranteeing satisfaction in every bite.

9. Little Farms Bar+Grill

If you thought having a smash burger in a bar was unexpected, try having one in a gourmet grocer. Little Farms Bar+Grill is a dining space that may serve one of the pricier smash burgers on this list, but it’s easy to see why. Located in Serangoon Garden’s myVillage, the restaurant offers its Smash Burger ($28++), made with Australian grass-fed beef sourced directly from its own shelves.

The patties are juicy and full of flavour without tipping into excessive greasiness, while sriracha mayo brings everything together, adding a gentle heat that lifts each bite.

10. Momo Power Burger

Office workers in One-North will likely be familiar with Timbre+ and the burger joint tucked at the back of the modernised hawker centre, Momo Power Burger. Highlights include the unique Peanut Butter Honey Bacon Cheese Beef Burger ($9.80 a la carte, $12 as a meal) and the Signature Smash Cheese Beef Burger (also $9.80 a la carte, $12 as a meal).

Their patties are freshly prepared by the owner, who personally minces the beef to retain its juiciness, along with including pineapple to provide a refreshing taste that cuts through the richness. For those with a bigger appetite, a double-patty option is available at $13 for the a la carte option and $15 for a meal.
