Meat lovers working hard in the CBD, it’s time to give yourselves a treat at Bochinche, a popular steakhouse in the CBD. Located a short three-minute walk away from Telok Ayer MRT Station, the chic restaurant offers free-flow Argentinian ribeye steaks at just $65++ per person!

This 90-minute steak buffet runs on Saturdays from 11:30am to 1pm, and 1pm to 2:30pm━it’s highly recommended to book your meal here. You get to indulge in as many servings of 250g steaks as you can stomach, paired with their house-made chimichurri dip, creamy horseradish, mustard, and fragrant salt. Each diner also can enjoy one free glass of Malbec, Suntory Beer, prosecco, or soft drink.
Go for the “W.Black” Marinated Inside Skirt: grass- and cereal-fed, 38-day wet-aged Australian steak if you love heavier flavours. Wet-ageing is a process of storing the meat in a vacuum bag, which is then kept in a refrigerator, tenderising the meat while retaining its freshness and moisture.
We found this cut rich and dense, with a good char and smokiness on the outside, while retaining its juiciness and flavour within.
Otherwise, go for the grass-fed Argentinian “Black Label” Ribeye that’s dry-aged for 28 days. Grilled to a perfect medium-rare, this cut was more tender and easy to enjoy. It was lighter on the palate too, while still boasting a good amount of fat.
If you need more than just protein, add $10++ for your choice of two sides. The Agria Chips Provencal AKA garlic-infused chips tossed with parsley are a hot favourite.
Else, get your daily dose of greens with the Roasted Vegetables, served with a mildly spicy green sauce.

What’s special about Bochinche is their use of traditional Asado techniques, where slow-burning fires in a charcoal griller cook the meats, customarily skewered on metal frames called asadors. All their meats are also specially curated, aged and cut in-house, before they cook it with their wood-fired grill.
While you’re here, you should try their unique desserts as well. Order the Argentinian Doughnut ($19++) that sees doughnuts filled with dulce de leche, AKA milk that’s simmered with sugar into a caramel-esque syrup, accompanied with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
If you’re here with your lunch kakis on a weekday, you can also opt for the set lunch that starts from $35++.
