Buey Tahan See-Food Has Three Chilli Crabs For $39.90 Till End-November 2020

Buey Tahan See-Food has three for $39.90 crabs

Not one, not two, but three crabs for $39.90 is the latest promotion at Buey Tahan See-Food, a halal-certified seafood zi char restaurant with outlets in Anchorvale, Choa Chu Kang, Punggol, Woodlands and Sembawang.

This promotion, which started on 21 October, will run for one month and is available both for dine-in and takeaway at all their outlets.

Although the price is attractive, don’t expect giant mud crabs with this deal. They’ve stated on their Facebook page that each crab will weigh about 350g to 400g, but you’ll still be getting almost 1.2kg of crab for $39.90, which is a steal!

What’s more, you have the option of choosing between chilli, black pepper, or salted egg (top-up of $5) for your order of crabs.

However, do note that you can only choose one flavour per order of three crabs: that is to say, you can choose two different sauces if you order six crabs, and so on.

Other than this promotion, the zi char restaurant has more than 200 zi char items on their menu at very affordable prices, from Thai-Style Fish Head ($25) to Hotplate Beancurd (from $12).

If you prefer not to go for the three for $39.90 promotion, there’s a Crab in Da Bag Imperial Pot going for $59.90, instead of the usual price of $79.90. It comes with two Sri Lankan crabs weighing 500g to 600g each and 250g each of prawns, clams, mussels, potatoes and corn!

This bag is further customisable with additional top-ups, and you have a choice of sauces: spicy, non-spicy, an interesting-sounding white tom yum, or salted egg (top-up of $5).

Alternatively, they also have a most unique Oreo Cheese Crab ($40) if you’re feeling adventurous!

Meanwhile, Nic & Tom Eatery in Serangoon has seafood cheese white bee hoon and other delights from just $1.90, while Tsuta has just introduced a new menu, with 1-for-1 promotions.
