Folks hankering for Burger & Lobster will be glad to know that the famous London restaurant will open their second outlet in town by the last quarter of 2019. Calling the newly revamped Raffles Hotel home, this joint will be easier to get to in comparison to Jewel Changi Airport.Â
It will be located at the Raffles Arcade, and the outlet is said to be three times bigger than their Jewel branch. It will also boast a wider menu of food and drinks for you to enjoy. Yes, this means you will find more than just the OG lobster rolls and sambal glazed lobsters here.Â
But for those of you who never had the chance to score a table at Jewel, you should still try their Original Roll ($40++) when this second outlet opens. The lobster roll, with its scrumptious flavour, is a testament to the restaurant’s success. A buttery brioche bun is stuffed with chunks of chilled lobster meat that’s dressed in a tantalising Japanese mayo sauce. The freshness of the lobster shines here, due to the simple dressing.
If your dining companion is more of a meat lover, they can opt for The Mayfair ($25++) instead. The towering stack features a juicy Nebraskan burger patty, melted cheese, bacon, house-made pickles and tomatoes. It’s a hearty treat that requires a big appetite, so come with an empty stomach.
Pair your meal with boozy tipples, including their Lillemoni ($14++) and Ruby Fizz ($14++). The former is served in a plastic bag hanging on a metal stand, and the fruity flavour pairs well with the oceanic tang from the lobsters.Â
Not much news about the new menu of the Raffles Hotel Singapore outlet has been released, so do bookmark this page to stay updated.
