If you’re a fan of grilled chicken, listen up: Chickita, a popular flame-grilled chicken chain from Vietnam, is set to open its first outlet here at City Square Mall come late November 2024! Aside from its four outlets in its home country, the brand also has outposts in Australia and Malaysia, with Singapore being its latest stop.
Chickita’s flame-grilling technique is said to produce some remarkable results: the chicken tends to be succulent, with a remarkably smoky aroma and flavour on top of it all. Regardless of whether you have the wings, legs, or breasts of the chicken, we hear that the overall quality is pretty consistent.
While having the chicken on its own is arguably the best way to enjoy it, Chickita also offers their meat in rice bowls, burgers, wraps, and even tacos.
Chickata’s offering of eight unique sauces to pair with your chicken makes it an especially thrilling option. These options include Original, infused with aromatic lemongrass, lime leaves, and chillies; Sexy, made with roasted red chillies; and Tropical, a refreshing mix of mango and citrus that balances sweet and tangy flavours.
We’re not entirely sure what the menu will look like here, but if their Malaysian branch is anything to go by, we Singaporeans have plenty to be excited about. We’ll update this post when more information is available, so stay tuned.
