Weave at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) seems to be the new it mall, as we’ve seen lots of cool openings in recent months. DRIM Gold is the latest addition to the up-and-coming spot, and if the name rings a bell, it’s because the same team behind D’RIM Korean Steak House runs the new Korean restaurant. What really stands out at DRIM Gold is the cave-inspired interiors, with a touch of Korean traditional elements, alongside outlet-exclusive dishes.
Similar to its first outlet at Mandarin Gallery, you can expect a premium Korean BBQ experience here. Here’s the fun twist: the menu is more expansive, with meat cuts such as Rare Hanwoo Beef and Jeju Black Pork. These two cuts are known for their marbling, which often enhances the overall flavour and texture.
We don’t have the prices on hand yet, so keep your eyes peeled as we update this article.
What we’re most excited about is the wide variety of seafood dishes, including Oyster Kimchi, Soy-Marinated Raw Shrimp, and Korean Traditional Beef Tartare. These are not commonly found at most Korean restaurants in Singapore, which makes your trip to DRIM Gold all the more special.
The menu still sees the restaurant’s signature dishes, of course, including the crowd-favourite Buckwheat Cold Noodle with Perilla Oil. For the uninitiated, this dish features pure buckwheat noodles tossed in a perilla seed sauce that’s nutty, fragrant, and rich.
You’ll be impressed by the roomy restaurant, where sculpted stone walls and layered textures create a cool, cave-like feel. Traditional Korean touches are woven throughout the design, making the interior feel both unique and welcoming.
The restaurant has just opened its doors to the public, and you can find it in the basement of Weave. It’s within walking distance of Resorts World Sentosa station!
