If you’re a Bidadari or Northeast resident, you’re in luck. The Woodleigh Mall, a new shopping centre connected to Woodleigh MRT Station, houses a massive FairPrice Finest for you to shop and dine at. Here you can sip on fancy cocktails and enjoy freshly shucked oysters at the fully stocked bar, or indulge in pastries and coffee at the cafe, in between stocking up on your groceries!
Spanning over 25,000 sq ft., this is also FairPrice Finest’s 35th store. If you’re here in the day, head straight to popular local coffeehouse Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee for a caffeinated pick-me-up. Their signature Cafe Latte ($5.50) is the perfect ratio of milk and espresso, but they also have Filter Coffee ($7.60) if you want something special. Have a seat at the counter to watch the baristas in action, or snag a table if you’re dining with a friend.
Pair your cup of joe with a freshly baked Butter Croissant ($4) from The Bakehaus, a homegrown bakery known for their 16-hour bread fermentation process.
Alternatively, satisfy your sweet tooth craving with a cheeky slice of cake from the glass display.
On top of coffee and bakes, you’ll also find a plethora of fresh seafood to choose from. Some of these have a ‘Pick ‘n’ Cook’ option, where you can handpick your fish off the shelves, head to the Grocer Kitchen, and request to have it prepared for a nominal fee of $8 on top of the labelled price.
Then there’s also a Roasted Delights counter with ready-to-eat meats for you to enjoy on the spot, or dabao back for your fam. Otherwise, grab a ready-to-eat bento that’s topped with unagi, fried chicken and more!
Don’t forget to make a pitstop at the cheese section to bring back a curated cheese and charcuterie platter.
Here, you can customise your own platter by first choosing your box—Small ($4) for up to three cheeses, Medium ($5) for up to four cheeses, and Large ($6) for up to five cheeses. Then, select your cheeses, salami, and cold cuts.
While waiting for your cheese platter to be arranged by the staff, head over to the well-stocked Grocer Bar for a refreshing tipple or two.
The outlet-exclusive, gin-forward FairPrice Smash and The Woodleigh Club are priced at a wallet-friendly $15 each, so you won’t break the bank here. You’ll also find a decent selection of wines, craft beers, and classic cocktails. Top tip: house-pour wines go at $7.90 a glass during happy hour, from Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm!
Go all out with a platter of six Fresh Oysters ($19.90), freshly shucked and served to the table. Signature Cheese Platters (from $15) are also on the menu, should you need something extra to pad the stomach.
FairPrice Finest Woodleigh is open 24 hours daily, but do note that the dine-in spaces have stipulated opening hours.
For more delicious snacks nearby, venture a little further to Aroy Thai Snacks, which sells sweet potato balls and fried banana. Otherwise, check out Kreme Cafe, a new gelato and waffles spot in Serangoon.
Address: 11 Bidadari Park Drive, #B1-32/33, The Woodleigh Mall, Singapore 367803
