1. Yum Cha: $2.40 dim sum


Good news for all dim sum lovers: Yum Cha has rolled out $2.40++ dim sum specials to celebrate their 24th anniversary! You’ll find six signature items at a wallet-friendly price of $2.40++ each, available from now till 30 November 2024. We loved the Fried Yam and Scallop, where a crispy puff is filled with creamy yam paste, then crowned with a scallop. Another highlight was the adorable Lucky Tangerine Fried Prawn Balls, shaped to resemble a mini tangerine and loaded with juicy fried shrimp.

2. Swensen’s Plantation Plaza: 1-for-1 sundaes

If you live in Tengah, Swensen’s has just opened an outlet in your hood! To celebrate their opening, enjoy 1-for-1 Sundaes from Mondays to Fridays, 2pm to 5pm, from now till 31 October 2024. Choose from six flavours: Merri Mint (U.P. $8.80++)Chocolate Crunch (U.P. $11.80++)Sticky Chewy Chocolate (U.P. $11.80++)Hot Fudge Sundae (U.P. $8.80++)Strawberry Sundae (U.P. $8.80++), and Gold Rush (U.P. $9.80++). 3. Springleaf Pasir Panjang: $9.90 prata buffet


If you love prata as much as we do, Springleaf Prata Place is running a prata buffet only at their Icon @ Pasir Panjang outlet, from now till 30 November 2024! Treat yourself to 90 minutes of free-flow prata at just $9.90 per person, with over 25 flavours to choose from. Popular picks range from Coin Prata, Cheese Prata, and Onion Prata to sweet flavours such as Red Bean Prata and Banana Prata. Do note that there’s a maximum of two prata per round. 4. PS.Cafe Fullerton: free unlimited truffle fries

If you visit PS.Cafe One Fullerton on a weekday, from 3pm to 5:30pm, you’ll be in luck. Get an alcoholic drink from their curated menu of wines, cocktails, and spirits, and enjoy complimentary free-flow Truffle Shoestring, served at regular intervals during that timeframe! The truffle fries usually go for $12++ for half a portion and $18++ for a full portion. We’re not sure when this promo will end, so head down ASAP to avoid disappointment.

5. Entrepot: $48++ steak buffet

For your next weekend feast, head down to Entrepot for their affordable Charcoal-Grilled Wagyu Steak Buffet on Saturdays and Sundays only! Visit the beautiful restaurant in The Robertson House for lunch from 12pm to 2:30pm to get this buffet for just $48++ per person; if you’re here for dinner, it’s $58++ per person instead. It gets you free-flow servings of charcoal-grilled meats, including  Argentinian Black Angus 30-Days Grain-Fed Striploin and Ribeye. You can also fill up on unlimited sides, such as Baked Garlic Baguette and Crispy Truffle Fries with Parmigiano Reggiano.

6. Chamoon Hot Pot: up to 50% off hotpot set


Hotpot fans, save this deal: China-famous chain Chamoon Hot Pot is rolling out discounts of up to 50% off their $98++ Set For Two Pax, in celebration of their opening! Enjoy 50% off the set from now till 3 October; 40% off from 4 October to 10 October; 30% off from 11 October to 17 October; and 20% off from 18 to 24 October 2024. You get your choice of a soup base, over 10 types of fresh produce and hot dishes, tea, and fresh fruit.

While this offer is available all day, it requires a minimum of two diners and there’s a 90-minute dining limit. Do also note that it applies to walk-ins only.

7. Dal.Komm Playground: $10 tteokbokki and beer set


Ring in the weekend at Dal.Komm Playground, a popular Korean cafe and bar at Guoco Midtown in Bugis. On Fridays and Saturdays, they’re running a promotion where you can get a $10 tteokbokki and Korean craft beer set. 8. Typhoon Cafe: $10.90++ lunch sets


Popular Taiwanese cafe Typhoon Cafe is offering value-for-money weekday lunch sets from 11:30am to 3pm. Each main also comes with a Classic Milk Tea, so you’re getting great bang for your buck! The cheapest options are Taiwanese Lu Rou Rice, Golden Chicken Fritters Mee Sua, and Sweet Potato Porridge, priced at $10.90++ each. There’s also a Crispy Chicken Cutlet with Typhoon Egg Fried Rice ($12.90++), where a deep-fried chicken cutlet is paired with fluffy fried rice for a hearty meal.
