8 Frasers Tower Food Places To Dine At For Oden, Salmon Grain Bowls And More

Frasers Tower food guide

Dining in the CBD can be a bit of a pickle, especially when most of your options cost an arm and a leg. If you’re constantly on the lookout for dining deals near Tanjong Pagar, then we’ve got you covered with our list of Frasers Tower food places to check out━we’ve included 1-for-1, and $1 dining deals that you can cop with the Frasers Experience (FRx) app from now till 30 September 2023!

1. Oishii Bar

Oishii Bar, as its name suggests, is the restaurant to put on your list if you’re looking for tasty Japanese fare. Chef Shigenerai Sato, who’s spent more than 15 years as a chef, including stints at reputable omakase restaurants, heads the kitchen here.

You can’t go wrong with his Roast Beef ($22++) bowl, where slices of pink roast beef are served with Wafu dressing on Japanese pearl rice.

Try his Kakiage Don ($18++), a lunchtime special that’s fried with Chef Sato’s secret tempura batter, and served on a bed of rice. Alternatively, there’s Oden ($22++), which comes with seven ingredients simmered for hours in a clear dashi broth. If you’ve got a favourite ingredient, get it for just $2++ a piece.

If you’ve got the FRx app, you’ll be entitled to redeem a 1-for-1 Dinner Set here from Mondays to Saturdays! Choose from their donburi set menu, including their dinner special, Kakiage Soba. This promotion excludes the Vegetable Kakiage Don, Oyakodon, and lunch special. Do note that while they’re open all day, lunch runs from 11:30am to 2:30pm, and dinner service starts at 5:30pm.

Unit number: #01-05/08

2. 22 Grams Cafe

Coffee lovers, you’ll want to put 22 Grams Cafe on your radar if you haven’t already. The little kiosk in the lobby of Frasers Tower was started by a group of professional baristas, including one who used to work with %Arabica.

Even the name of the cafe, 22 Grams, is inspired by the precise amount of beans they use in each pour.

FRx members can enjoy selected special drinks off the 22 Grams menu at just $1! These include their popular Caffe Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Long Black and more. One of their best-selling brews is the Iced Latte ($7), though the Flat White ($6/$7) is equally popular. Otherwise, 22 Grams’ Long Black ($5) packs a real punch; alternatively, the Peru Dark Chocolate ($5.50) is one of their non-caffeinated options that we loved for its malty, chocolatey notes.

For something more basic, they’ve got Fresh Thai Coconut Juice ($5.90/$7.90) too, with real coconut flesh in your drink.

P.S.: download the FRx app to enjoy their keto- and vegan-friendly gelato at $1! Usually priced at $7.90 a scoop, you’ll also get a free waffle cone with your gelato. To skip the fuss, their curated bowls include an Oven-Baked Salmon Bowl ($12.80), topped with sous-vide egg, roasted carrots, and shimeji mushrooms

There is also the Chicken NiNi Bowl ($9.80), where sous-vide chicken breast is accompanied with hard-boiled egg, edamame, as well as roasted cauliflower, and carrot.

There’s even a “Gu Lao Rou” Bowl ($11.30) that’s made with plant-based meat, so you can still enjoy your fav sweet and sour flavours without actually having meat. What’s more, the FRx app allows you to enjoy a 1-for-1 promo on any of these bowls!
