At Good Day Bakery, which opened just three months ago, you can enjoy Taiwanese treats that are baked daily using locally sourced ingredients. What’s more, early risers can get their breakfast fix as early as 8am. Located near Clementi MRT Station, you can find them just a short walk away from Exit B.

A highlight among their bakes is Taro Mochi Rolls, available at $6.50 for three pieces. Fans of orh nee and mochi would love this treat that features a tiger skin-patterned cake rolled with velvety yam paste, as well as a centre of savoury meat floss and chewy mochi. While some have found the price a tad steep considering its size, multiple reviewers commend its balanced sweetness that’s not too cloying.

Be sure not to miss out on their Meat Floss Cake ($4.80), which comes in a box of four with two different flavours: Seaweed and Black Truffle. Many love the seaweed-flavoured version, which you can tear open to reveal a rich mayo centre that complements the soft and fragrant cake.
Besides these, the Taiwanese street food staple, Taiwanese Hot Dog ($2.50), is a popular pick that’s great as a midday snack.
Â
That’s not all, check out their other fresh bakes including Ham And Cheese Toast, Egg Tarts, Corn Sandwich, Sea Salt Oreo Cake and more. You’ll be glad to find that most of their items are kept affordable, under $3.
Easties in need of a bread fix, swing by One18 Bakery instead, where you can enjoy atas bakes including bi-colour croissants from $2.50. Otherwise, check out our guide to the best Taiwanese bakeries in Singapore.
