Casual cafe and bistro Cedele is the spot for brunch in Greenwich V. Here, you can start your day right with their Hearty Breakfast ($21), which includes all the usual big breakfast trimmings, or their Signature Pancakes ($17++). For the latter, you choose between caramelised banana or wild blueberry pancakes, and have them alongside bacon, mushrooms, eggs, or sausages. Aside from brunch bites, Cedele runs an all-day menu of burgers, grilled dishes, pasta, and wraps. If it’s just coffee and a sweet treat you’re after, grab a bake from their display case!

Satisfy your bubble tea cravings at LiHO TEA’s Greenwich V outlet. Expect a wide selection of boba drinks here, including some new and seasonal additions to the menu. ICYMI: LiHO TEA recently launched their Light Milk Tea Cloud series, a “lighter” version of bubble tea, which is said to be less calorific than their regular drinks. Prices start at $5.30 a cup.

Those looking to grab a bun to snack on or to dabao for breakfast can swing by Bakery Cuisine Express. The franchise’s outpost in Greenwich V may be smaller than the other Bakery Cuisine outlets in Singapore, but they do have a fair selection of all their popular buns and bakes. Otherwise, they also have freshly made waffles here, complete with Bakery Cuisine’s signature mochi-like waffle batter.

Popular homegrown chocolatier Awfully Chocolate is where it’s at if you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth. The cafe is located on the second floor of Greenwich V, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light, and views of the greenery from outside the mall. Pair your choice of chocolate dessert with their signature beverages, including their lush Fat Chocolate ($8++), where hot cocoa meets their house-made chocolate sauce. The outlet also sells whole cakes, if you’re looking to grab their All Chocolate Cake (from $42) for a birthday.

Ah Chiang’s Porridge’s successor runs Old Shifu Charcoal Porridge, which has multiple outlets islandwide. Their Greenwich V outpost is housed in Picnic, the mall’s beach-themed food court. Dig into comforting bowls of porridge, priced from $5.50 for their classic Pork Porridge. The congee here is said to be slow-cooked over a charcoal fire, for added flavour.

Enjoy decent bowls of ramen at Mr Ramen, another stall within Greenwich V’s Picnic food court. They have quite a selection of ramen to choose from here, with prices starting at $7.50 for their Miso Tofu flavour. The Truffle Ramen ($11.90) is a popular pick here—a rich tonkotsu broth is dressed up with lashings of truffle oil, as well as slices of chashu. If ramen isn’t your thing, you can also get donburi bowls. They have mentaiko bowls under $10!

Kam Jia Zhuang Seafood serves up Putian seafood dishes and zi char at affordable price points. They have a few outlets islandwide, including one at Greenwich V. We definitely recommend trying their homely Heng Hwa Fried Bee Hoon ($6.50), or the Putian Mee Sua ($7), both of which come loaded with fresh seafood. The chef behind Kam Jia Zhuang Seafood has earned his stripes at the likes of Tung Lok and Marriott Hotel for over 30 years, so you know the food here is legit!
