IKEA Tampines’ $29.90 Halal Buffet Returns For 4 Days

If you are looking for another excuse to indulge in another IKEA feast, this is your sign. IKEA Tampines’ Buffet Istimewa will be making a comeback this Ramadan season with an all-you-can-eat buffet spread that blends crowd-favourite Swedish staples with familiar local delights. 

Priced at $29.90 per person, the buffet will be held on four selected evenings—27 February, 6 March, 13 March, and 20 March—at IKEA Tampines’ Swedish Restaurant, running from 7pm to 9pm. Do note that the buffet line closes at 8:45pm, so diners are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment. IKEA Family members will be entitled to a discounted price of $26.60, with free registration available online or in-store.

Besides IKEA’s ever-popular Beef Meatballs with Lingonberry Jam and Signature Fried Chicken Wings, the fully halal-certified buffet features a wide variety of entrees, finger food, sides, and sweets.

To mark the Ramadan season, crowd-favourites such as Ayam Masak Lemak Chili Padi, Sayur Campur Goreng, and Nasi Kunyit are on the menu. You can also find familiar dishes from the IKEA restaurant, including their Organic Penne Pasta With Tomato Sauce and Mashed Potato and Cream Sauce. Adding to the spread are live stations serving grilled chicken kebabs and tortilla wraps, along with a DIY mee siam station.

Tickets are sold exclusively at IKEA Tampines’ Halal line check-out, with early access for IKEA Family members from 6 to 13 February, and public sales beginning on 14 February. Limited seating is available each night. Every adult diner will receive a $10 IKEA home furnishing voucher.
