With Milksha and Takagi Ramen having opened just recently at Woodlands, it’s been happening in the North. Now, joining these new eateries is Joy Luck Teahouse, set to open their Woodlands outlet on 18 December 2020 at Causeway Point. This new outlet will also be home to exclusive Milo-flavoured items, and is their third outlet islandwide.
If you’re a Woodlands dweller new to Joy Luck Teahouse, the latter offers Hong Kong cha chaan teng fare including polo buns, egg tarts, and milk tea from famous brands like Hoover Cake Shop and more. Other outlets include ION Orchard and Bugis Junction, both opened just this year.
Joy Luck Teahouse will open their new outlet this Friday, located at #B1-K01, near Mr Coconut and Twelve Cupcakes.
Fans of the teahouse will also be delighted to hear that their new outlet will exclusively offer a Milo Pineapple Bun ($2.50). Expect the same fluffy bun encased in a caramelised, brittle crust, except it is now additionally stuffed with Milo powder and sugar crystals.

Wash these sweet snacks down with the Milo Yin Yang which is available Hot ($4.30), Cold ($4.60), and Bottled ($4.90). This beverage is an indulgent concoction of coffee, tea, and Milo chocolate malt.
If you’re looking to visit 18 to 20 December 2020, the Milo Pineapple Bun will be available with a 20% discount at $2 instead. Additionally, you will also be entitled to a free drink with every purchase of the Milo Yin Yang. Do note, only one redemption of the free drink is allowed with each transaction.
Northies new to Joy Luck Teahouse should also check out their egg tarts, which they are best known for. Pick from the crumbly Hoover Egg Tart with Cookie Skin ($2.30) and the flaky Hoover Egg Tart with Pastry Skin ($2.30). Both of these pick-me-ups are filled with smooth custard.
For more new openings, Mr Coconut is also set to open in Bugis and Bishan this month as well. Otherwise, Luke’s Lobster will be opening at Jewel Changi soon too.
