Update:Â Check out our Kampong Gelam Bazaar 2024 food guide!
The Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar is one of the highlights of the year in Singapore, as it heralds the Ramadan festivities, as well as nights of great food by local F&B brands at the bazaar.
If you’re readying yourself for the 2024 edition, here’s what you need to know: the organisers, One Kampong Gelam, have announced that the bazaar will run from 2 March to 5 April, from 2pm to 11pm daily. This is much longer than the bazaar of years past, which typically run for around three weeks.Â
This year, Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar 2024 will be held across three streets, and is set to feature over 100 stalls, with 80 of them being F&B vendors. An expected 700,000 guests are expected to jalan jalan at the bazaar over the course of its opening.Â
While we don’t have intel on what exactly those stalls will be yet, we can definitely expect some recurring and familiar names.Â
Kream SG, for example, is a bazaar fixture we’re hoping to see again this year. They’re famed for their coney dogs, topped with the likes of nacho cheese, mentaiko and more.
There’s also Habibtea, the first Arabic bubble tea brand in Singapore serving thirst-quenching drinks made with a spiced tea base—unlike the floral Taiwanese green and black teas we get from the bubble tea franchises we have in Singapore.
Other bazaar highlights you can look forward to include butter beer, prata waffles, doughnuts, and traditional Malay street food eats. The bazaar will also house an area with picnic-style benches for diners to enjoy their food and drinks on-site.
We’ll update this article with more information about the Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar 2024 when we receive it.
