Ya Kun Has Durian Kaya Toast With D24 Durian Cream For A Limited Time

Ya Kun has D24 Durian Kaya Toast for a limited time

If you love kaya toast and durian, you’re in luck. Ya Kun Kaya Toast has brought back their Durian Kaya Toast, just in time for National Day!

The popular toast flavour made an appearance for a limited period in 2018. This time, it’s available till 23 August 2024, at all outlets except Changi Airport Terminal 2 and 3, IMM Mall, Ng Teng Fong Hospital, Vivo City, Downtown East, and Holland Piazza.

Each portion is priced at $4.80 and comes with four slices. You can also order it as a set, with a hot kopi or teh, at $6.50.

You get Ya Kun’s classic toasted brown bread, generously slathered with the brand’s famous kaya and pure D24 durian cream. FYI: Ya Kun’s kaya ranked fourth place on our best kaya in Singapore guide.

Surprisingly, the pandan fragrance of the kaya complements the bittersweet notes of the D24 durian. It also helps that there’s no butter in this toast, which makes the intense durian flavour stand out even more. We let some of our durian-crazy colleagues try the toast for themselves, and they assured us that the taste of pungent king of fruits was legit. In fact, it almost completely overpowered the kaya flavour.

Besides the Durian Kaya Toast, durian lovers can look forward to trying the Durian Swiss Roll ($4.30), made with D24 durian cream as well. Get it a la carte or as a set with hot kopi or teh at $6.30.

These two new additions are only available for a limited time, so act fast if you’d like to try them!
