Fans of Taiwanese bakery Kazo can soon get their cream puff and bolo bun fix at the brand’s soon-to-open outlet in Bugis Junction, called Kazo Signature. Launching in November 2021, this upcoming branch follows their Takashimaya opening earlier this year.

As hinted on their Instagram page, this is the brand’s first-ever Kazo Signature. You can expect a new lineup of pastries and tarts offered here, in addition to the bakery’s mainstay items.

An all-time favourite on their menu is the Golden Lava Danish Polo ($3), an IG-worthy pastry piped with a generous amount of salted egg yolk custard in the middle. This signature item boasts a crumbly exterior and flakey layers within to complement the rich filling.

On top of trendy bolo buns, Kazo is also popular for their Crispy Cream Puff ($2), available in flavours including Chocolate, and Matcha.

Those who love tarts will be pleased with their selection here; there’s the best-selling Original Cheese Tart ($3.30), and the Fruit Cheese Tart ($4.50) for a burst of freshness to offset the rich cheese. Other must-tries are the Taro Tart ($3), which comes in a soft pastel purple hue, and their newly improved Lemon Meringue Tart ($3).

The full menu for Kazo Signature is yet to be released, so you can keep your eyes peeled on their social media pages for the latest updates.

In the meantime, you can visit Kazo Bakery’s other outlets across the island for a taste of these Taiwanese desserts. These include Suntec City, JCube, and Takashimaya. We’ve also just heard that the bakery is opening another outlet at Plaza Singapura in the same month. Alternatively, stay at home and order islandwide delivery with a top-up of $10!
