Kazutake Ramen: Naruto-Themed Restaurant In Serangoon With Nett Prices, Open 24/7

Kazutake Ramen is a Naruto-themed restaurant that’s open 24/7

Fans of the famed manga series Naruto are in for a treat at Kazutake Ramen, a Japanese restaurant in Serangoon Gardens furnished with an interior inspired by the show. The ramen restaurant features the show’s most well-loved characters on every corner of the walls!

Following in the footsteps of 24-hour ramen joints such as Takagi Ramen, Kazutake Ramen also operates around the clock and offers affordable Japanese fare. FYI, we visited their outlet in Serangoon Gardens and they have another in Ang Mo Kio! Do note that the latter outlet isn’t Naruto-themed.

The restaurant serves up various types of ramen—both wet and dry—don AKA rice bowl, sashimi, and sushi maki.

For a safe option, go for the classic Chashu Ramen ($11.50), starring thin springy ramen noodles bathed in a rich and savoury tonkotsu broth. This also comes with a ramen egg, three huge slices of chashu, black fungus, and spring onions.

If you are not a soup girlie, we would recommend the Truffle Mazemen ($11.50) instead, featuring dry noodles alongside a soft-boiled egg and copious amounts of pork. When mixed together, the noodles had a very subtle yet pleasant hint of truffle that was not too overpowering.

There are also several rice dishes you can go for if noodles don’t float your boat. Choose from the likes of Salmon Belly Ikura Don ($19.90), Unagi Don ($16.90) or the Yakitori Don ($9.90). Pair your meal with drinks such as Strawberry Fresh Milk ($4), Milk Tea ($3.50) or Green Tea ($3.50).

Lastly, the trip here would not be complete without ordering a side of their sushi or sashimi. If you are wondering what to get, order the Salmon Sashimi ($7); the dish features three thick slices of salmon which we find to be relatively value-for-money.

Whether you’re a Naruto enthusiast or not, Kazutake Ramen is a great spot to hit for an affordable meal.

For a good dessert spot in the area, check out Celine’s Gelato. Alternatively, read our Mensho Tokyo review for Michelin-approved ramen.
