If you’re looking to try Moroccan cuisine, head down to La Fez, an Instagrammable Moroccan-inspired restaurant with a beautiful rose-gold interior. This 70-seater restaurant is elaborately furnished with decor that transports you to Marrakesh, and serves an all-day brunch menu.Â

The Shakshuka Tagine with Eggs and Feta Cheese ($22+) is a crowd-favourite. Creamy, tangy, and savoury, the dish is served in a traditional earthenware pot with a side of baguette slices for dipping into the poached eggs.Â

However, La Fez is best known for their La Fez’s Chicken Tagine ($24+). The chicken is slow-cooked in a blend of secret spices with sweet apricots, potatoes, capsicum and olives. They also offer a lamb and vegetarian option. Fork-tender, warm and comforting, this dish is a must-have when dining at the restaurant.

If you’re craving something sweet, fret not, as La Fez also offers a unique range of desserts, baked fresh daily. Their Raspberry Lychee Minaret ($12+) is too pretty to resist—the rose sponge cake base is topped with airy raspberry lychee mousse and decorated with delicate, edible rose petals.

For chocoholics, the Chocolate Tart ($10+) is worth a shot. This tart is a triple shot of cocoa, from its buttery shortcrust shell to the dark chocolate filling and whipped chocolate cream. Meanwhile, pistachios add crunch and sweetness to the dessert.

Brunch and desserts aside, Mediterranean cuisine is never complete without some refreshing tea to cleanse the palate. Be sure to try their High Tea Set ($60+) if you are planning a gathering with friends and family. La Fez offers the set daily from 2pm to 5pm, so be sure to make a reservation before your visit.Â
