Here’s an interesting multi-sensory dining concept for you to check out at Jewel Changi: Le Petit Chef, which translates to “the little chef”, is a popular 3D dining experience combining animations, travel-themed course meals, and exciting performances. Tip: spot the little chef projected onto your plate and listen carefully to what he whips up!

You can enjoy this engaging five-course meal at Changi Experience Studio, located on the fourth floor of Jewel Changi. To enter the premises, all you need is a “plane ticket”, which will be given to you at the entrance.

The menu changes depending on upcoming events such as Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Valentine’s Day, but there are mainstays you can look forward to: Le Petit Classic, Le Petit Vegan, Le Petit Chef Junior and more.

We went for the Le Petit Classic ($198++ per person) comprising five dishes, including a Mexican-style tomato soup and an Italy-themed dish of aburi tiger prawns with saffron mayo and cucumber pappardelle.

Our appetisers were followed by two mains: French roulade chicken with mashed potatoes and poached Japanese swordfish submerged in a shitake mushroom broth. We rounded our meal with a locally inspired orh nee dessert topped with pandan coconut foam and popping candy!

Though pricey, this immersive dining is a great way to plan a one-of-a-kind date activity with your loved one. We’re also sure the little ones will love dining here too, as it offers a feast for both the eyes and palate.

FYI, Le Petit Chef runs from Friday to Sunday, now till 30 April 2025, so get your seats ASAP while you still can.
