McDonald’s Launches Curry Chicken Nuggets, Nasi Lemak Burger And Coke Float Return Too

McDonald’s has new curry chicken McNuggets

Fun fact: McDonald’s iconic curry sauce was first introduced in 1995, which means it’s already been 30 years since this indispensable condiment has been around. Inspired by the nation’s favourite nugget sauce, the beloved fast food chain came up with a genius idea to give you the best of both worlds, all in one bite: Curry Chicken McNuggets. That’s not all: the popular Nasi Lemak Burger and Coke Float are making a comeback too, making for the best meal combination ever. These items will be available from 24 February 2025.

The all-new Curry Chicken McNuggets (from $8.70 for an Extra Value Meal) are sold in a box of six, nine, or 20 pieces depending on your party size. Open the box and you’ll instantly get a whiff of curry, with aromatic hints of onion, garlic, and ginger once you take a bite.

I don’t recommend dipping your Curry Chicken McNuggets in the curry sauce as it gets cloying too quickly; instead, I found the honey mustard dipping sauce a great accompaniment as its tangy, piquant flavour complemented the slightly earthy and spiced nuggets.

True fans will know the Nasi Lemak Burger (from $9.75 for an Extra Value Meal), which was launched back in 2017. This is quite literally a plate of nasi lemak made into a burger—you get a fried chicken patty marinated in a blend of spices, a fried egg, sliced cucumbers, and caramelised onions, all doused in McDonald’s sambal sauce. For those wondering, the burger is the same as the past rendition.

FYI, the Curry Chicken McNuggets and Nasi Lemak Burger will be available at all outlets islandwide after breakfast hours!

Complete your meal with crowd-favourite Coke Float (from $4.50), starring fizzy Coca-Cola topped with McDonald’s creamy vanilla soft serve. This is the ultimate quencher to have on a sultry day, and it’s also best enjoyed with the hearty Curry Chicken McNuggets and Nasi Lemak Burger.

The Coke Float is here for a good time and not a long time, so enjoy it while it’s still around.

All three items will be available from 24 February! Mark your calendars and try the new Curry Chicken McNuggets to see if you like it better than dipping the original chicken nuggets in curry sauce.
