McDonald’s Has New Honey Butter McShaker Fries And Cajun Sauce, Spicy Nuggets Return Too

McDonald’s Honey Butter McShaker Fries launches on 1 June

Just a couple of days after McDonald’s launched their new coconut soft serve, the fast food giant announced another brand-new release: Honey Butter McShaker Fries (price TBD).

This new shaker fries flavour will officially launch tomorrow, 1 June 2023. You can also pair this with their newly released Cajun Sauce, said to be sweet and smoky.

The Honey Butter McShaker seasoning pack takes a nod to the popular Korean food flavouring that’s savoury and buttery, with an addictive hint of sweetness. Order it alongside the Jjang! Jjang! Burger, a gochujang-spiked, Korean-inspired burger.

On top of the new shaker fries, the ever-popular Spicy Chicken McNuggets are also making a comeback! Prices for these are yet to be released, but if they’re the same as last year, an a la carte box will set you back $7, while an Extra Value Meal starts from $8.80. These nuggets are zhnged up version of the classic McNuggets, and are said to be extra flavourful with a kick of heat.

ICYMI: McDonald’s now has a new ice cream flavour! Try it in Cone ($1.20) form, as a Sundae ($2.40), or get it in a McFlurry ($3.55) with crushed Oreo. The new coconut soft serve is light and creamy, with a tinge of coconutty fragrance.

In other fast food-related news, we recently did our Super Sub Hotdogs review. This Tampines eatery specialises in XXL hotdogs with interesting flavours such as Spicy Pomodoro With Pesto and Heavenly Yuzu Crab.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for a fancier dining experience for special occasions, head to Common Man Night Shift instead, which has an impressive natural wine selection on top of delicious sourdough pizzas.
