Word is in: McDonald’s Singapore is bringing Thai flavours to its menu this November with the launch of the new Tom Yum Burgers, available in prawn and chicken versions.

This launch follows the return of the fast food chain’s famous Samurai Burgers, which reappeared on the menu in September.

Available from 6 November 2025, the new burgers are part of a limited-time Thai-inspired lineup that also includes the Thai Milk Tea Frappe (from $5.90).

The Tom Yum Burgers feature a rather tangy and creamy Tom Yum Mayo Sauce, with each patty topped with purple cabbage, raw onions, and sliced tomatoes.

We enjoyed the Thai mayo sauce, which offered a zesty tang with a mild hint of spice. The raw onions, however, added a sharp zing that overwhelmed each bite with their acidity. As for the shrimp patties, we’re already familiar with them from previous iterations, and they didn’t stand out as anything special.

The Tom Yum Chicken Burger swaps the seafood patty for a spicy chicken thigh, which provides a meatier, chewier bite. This version had more heat than the prawn burger, but it still wouldn’t be enough to excite spice lovers like me.

Each burger will be available as part of an Extra Value Meal (from $8.95) at all McDonald’s outlets, Drive-Thrus, and on delivery platforms including McDelivery, GrabFood, foodpanda, and Deliveroo.

We particularly enjoyed the Tom Yum Mayo Sauce on its own, which is available in individual tubs for $0.50 each or as part of every Nuggets Meal. The tangy, mildly spicy sauce stood out much better on its own, without the interference of pungent onions from the burgers. It also paired well with the new Fish Nuggets (from $6.70).

To round off your meal, cool down with the Thai Milk Tea Frappe, a refreshing frozen take on the classic Thai drink that we featured last year.

You can also treat yourself to the new KITKAT MILO McFlurry (from $3.80), which combines the iconic malty chocolate powder with KITKAT chocolate crumble.

The new items will be out from 6 November 2025 for a limited time, so head down before it’s too late!
