The under-the-radar restaurant, which first started as a home-based business in 2020, sports simple and homey interiors resembling that of the typical casual eateries you’ll find in Korea. If you look closely, you’ll see cute knick-knacks dotted around the space adding to the charm, including a shelf displaying crocheted Korean dishes that are said to be handmade by the owner’s mother!

Their kimbap is a highlight here; choose from seven flavours, including the Original Gimbap ($10.80), Spam Kimchi Gimbap ($12.80), Crabmeat Mayo Gimbap ($11.80): crabstick with mayo, omelette, rice, and pickles, held by a seaweed sheet.

The restaurant also offers a small variety of mains that are all sub-$20, including the likes of Kimchi Stew ($16.80) and Dakgalbi ($17.80): spicy stir-fried marinated chicken.

For sides, consider sharing the Kimchi Pancake ($15.80), which is said to boast a crispy exterior and flavourful middle. They also have Tteokbokki ($7.80), which you can add mozzarella ($2.20) on top for that IG-worthy cheese pull!

Nana Bunsik is located in NEWest Mall, a six-minute bus ride from Clementi MRT Station, followed by a three-minute walk.
