Old Chang Kee fans have something to look forward to this month. The homegrown brand has launched a limited-time high tea, A Taste of Heritage Awaits: Madison’s x Old Chang Kee Afternoon Tea Special, in collaboration with the hotel Pullman Singapore Hill Street.
Enjoy this set from Monday to Saturday, 2pm to 5pm, at $88++ for two diners, which works out to $44++ per person. The afternoon tea runs till 30 April 2025 at Madison’s, an American restaurant in the five-star hotel.
Start with the lineup of savoury bites, which spotlights quintessential classics from Old Chang Kee, including the beloved Curry’O, spicy Sardine Puff, and vegetarian-friendly Curry Potato Puff. These puffs come in adorable, mini-sized portions, so you won’t too jelak after having them.
There’s also a luxurious Laksa Shrimp Vol Au Vent: crispy puff pastry stacked with caviar and infused with Old Chang Kee’s signature laksa paste. Interestingly, said paste is a main ingredient featured in the popular Dry Laksa Goreng dish from Old Chang Kee’s sister brand, Curry Times.
Over at the sweet section, you can tuck into bite-sized treats inspired by traditional flavours, ranging from Ondeh Ondeh Cake and Mango Pudding with Sago Pomelo, to fragrant Pandan Scones served with kaya and whipped cream.
The afternoon tea set includes your choice of beverage: regular coffee, tea, kopi C, or teh tarik. Alternatively, zhng up the experience by opting for free-flow champagne and wines for two hours with a top-up of $78++ per person!
