New in: Japan Rail Cafe is teaming up with Pompompurin, the lovable golden retriever from Sanrio, for their first-ever collab! The all-new Pompompurin-themed cafe is scheduled to take place in Tanjong Pagar from 4 May to 14 June 2026.

Titled “Pompompurin Tohoku Trip”, the pop-up is packed with Tohoku-inspired treats, starting with the Pompompurin Curry Rice ($22.90++). Picture this: fluffy egg rice shaped like Pompompurin himself, soaking in a rich, savoury curry, served with crispy chicken karaage.

Then, try the Inaniwa Udon Onsen Bath ($18++)—silky thin noodles served in a gentle beef broth, inspired by the flavours of Northeast Japan.

Pair your main with the After Onsen Banana Milk ($9.90++), topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, or wash everything down with the refreshing Yuzu Citron Cream Float ($8++), crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.

End things on a sweet note with the Pompompurin Pudding Parfait ($12.90++), starring caramel pudding topped with whipped cream, straight from Pompompurin’s favourite treat list.

That’s not all: you can take home exclusive Pompompurin merch with every order! Order a main and get a desk mat, grab a drink for a coaster, or indulge in dessert for a magnet. These make the perfect souvenirs for any Pompompurin fan.

Japan Rail Cafe is also turning into a Pompompurin-themed vacation retreat, with life-sized plushies dotted around the cafe, perfect for the gram.
