Following these famous F&B brands that closed down in 2025 and 2026, it’s time to bid farewell to yet another name. This time, it’s a beloved heritage eatery—Prince Coffee House—a long-standing Hainanese place along Beach Road. After nearly 50 years of serving generations of customers, the owner has decided to call it a day, with plans to close sometime in June or July.

Helmed by Jimmy, now in his 80s, the old-school eatery has doling out Hainanese-Western fare for the past five decades. Some of the popular picks that regulars love include Hainanese Pork Chop ($16), Sweet & Sour Fish ($15), and Lemon Chicken ($15).

If you’re not a fan of the sweet-tangy combination, the Grilled Pork Chop ($15) is a safe bet. It features a huge piece of tender grilled chicken doused in creamy gravy, accompanied by some fries and pickled greens on the side.

On the bright side, there’s still some time left before Prince Coffee House officially closes in June or July 2026. Make your way down one last time before saying goodbye for good.

For easy access, the eatery is a quick five-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station.
