Going to the pasar malam is a national pastime. With every visit, grabbing a Ramly burger was a must for many of us—the affordable snack in all its juicy, greasy glory is the stuff pasar malam dreams are made of.
Now that these night markets are making a comeback, fans have easier access to this cult favourite treat. However, there are also a few Ramly burger stalls that have set up permanent shops so that you can get your hands on them, almost any day of the week. Here’s a list of the three places you can find Ramly burgers in Singapore outside of a night market!

Check out the new kid on the block: Mr. Burger in Bugis Village! The restaurant is run and owned by Malaysians, and their burgers are said to closely resemble the ones you’d get at night markets. Prices here start from $5.90, and you get to choose from a bunch of unique burger flavours inspired by the food in different countries.
These include the China Mala Chicken Burger ($6.90), Hawaiian Chicken Burger ($6.90), and Thai Style Chicken Burger ($6.90). If that’s not enough, the eatery also offers pasta dishes such as Seafood Marinara Pasta ($8.90), Mushroom Pasta with Truffle Oil ($7.90) and more!

Located in Downtown East is Ministry of Burgers, a Ramly burger cafe that sells a slightly zhnged-up version of the classic Ramly burger. As compared to the usual Ramly meat patties, theirs are thicker and juicier to give a more satisfying bite. Their signature is the Thunder Burger ($11.50), which comes with four stacked patties of your choice, as well as egg, lettuce, and sauce. Otherwise, their atypical burgers go for $7.30, with a choice of chicken, beef, veggie, or fish. Round off the meal with their Special Briyani Fries ($2.90), where shoestring fries are dusted in biryani spices for an extra spicy kick.
