Shake Shack at Orchard Road
Shake Shack’s popularity in Singapore is undeniable. Their Jewel outlet was so popular and drew large crowds daily that the burger chain was able to open a second outlet at Outram Park in early 2020. Now, they’re completing the hat trick with a third outlet that’s slated to open during the third quarter of 2020. This new store will be located at Liat Towers, near Orchard Road.
Shake Shack Outram Has New Items Including Black Sesame Concrete And Buttermilk Chicken Burger
Currently, the store is still being barricaded with a mural-esque facade. But what we do know is that this will be the first store to have an al-fresco area. Its interior and exterior will also be designed by local artist Danielle Tay, and feature paintings of iconic Singaporean locations such as the Botanic Gardens.
Currently, there’s no word on whether there’ll be a new menu to accompany this atas atmosphere. However, it’s safe to assume that their Signature ShackBurger ($9.20) will make the cut. The burger packs a juicy US Angus patty between fluffy potato buns, and is easily the reason for the queues at Jewel.
Personally, I’m holding out for my favourite Shroom Burger ($10.80). The thick burger comprises deep-fried portobello mushroom patty that’s been infused with a decadent blend of cheese including Colby cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Tilsit.
One thing’s for sure, you can expect lines at this new outlet to be insanely long given its proximity to CBD workers. That being said, do remember to exercise safe distancing measures while you’re there once it opens!
