Get Fresh Springleaf Prata From A Vending Machine In MacPherson

Springleaf Prata Place has a prata vending machine in Macpherson

Singapore’s vending machine game has been wild lately, with Mao Shan Wang durians and banana cake among recent options. Now, you can get Springleaf Prata Place’s crowd-favourite prata from a vending machine at the Lion City Sailors Training Centre along Mattar Road!

Located on the second floor of the football facility, the vending machine serves up its prata in a cup, cut into bite-sized pieces for easy consumption. Each cup comes with a bag of house-made fish curry, and utensils are available on the side of the machine.

The vending machine currently offers two types of cups: Two Plain Prata ($3.80) and One Egg One Plain Prata ($5). According to the machine, you can look forward to more dishes in the future, including Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, and Kway Teow Goreng

We tried the Egg and Plain Prata, where the two types of prata were mixed in the cup. The prata was kept warm at an optimal temperature, helping it retain the taste and texture we’ve come to expect from Springleaf.

The fish curry is to be poured directly into the prata cup. We found that the curry paired perfectly with the prata, making each bite rich and spicy. Eating the prata out of a cup was certainly a novel experience!

This vending machine initiative is a collaboration between One Halal Nation’s founder Amanda Atan and Springleaf Prata Place. Do note that the prata cups are stocked fresh daily from 8:30am to 9:30am.
