Sushi fans on the east side no longer have to trek to Raffles City for a taste of Sushidan. The Tokyo-born sushi concept, helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Hiroyuki Sato, is opening its second Singapore outlet at Parkway Parade on 5 September 2026, bringing its accessible Edomae-style sushi closer to Easties.
The new 35-seater outlet is roughly half the size of their Raffles City flagship, but keeps the same value-driven menu that has made Sushidan a hit since its Singapore debut. Diners can expect a la carte sushi from $1.99++, sashimi from $2.99++, hand rolls from $3.99++, and omakase sets starting at $19.90++.
If you’re wondering how the brand keeps prices accessible without cutting corners on ingredients, it’s because they source seafood directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market and fresh salmon from Norway, while using red vinegar from Kyoto and premium rice from Akita to prepare its signature Red Shari rice.
Highlights to look forward to include The Goshoku Set ($19.90++), Sushidan’s entry-level omakase, which is a good place to start for first-timers. It comes with seasonal chawanmushi, a chef’s appetiser, three ochoko mini dons, a sushi platter, a negitoro handroll and miso soup.
There’s also the Goshoku Aburi Set ($19.90++), offering a torched version of the same lineup for those who prefer their sushi with a bit of char.
We tried Sushidan’s 7-course omakase ($29.90++) at the Raffles City outlet back in late 2025, and the nigiri was easily the highlight, especially the Aburi Engawa. The Negitoro Roll was another standout as it was generously packed with fatty tuna.
To mark the Parkway Parade opening, Sushidan is running a limited-time Hokkaido Uni Promotion from 5 September to 30 September 2026. Diners who order any omakase course can add 30g of premium Hokkaido nama uni, served with toasted seaweed, for just $18.80++, a steep discount off its usual price.
The promotion is exclusive to the Parkway Parade outlet, available while stocks last, and the specific uni variety may rotate depending on seasonality.
