Easties, rejoice: Thai Baang has opened at Changi City Point! Located a short stroll from Expo MRT Station, this new store marks the popular Thai-inspired bakery’s fourth outlet in Singapore.

Thai Baang is known for their range of fresh bread, baked in customised tins. These buns are said to be softer and fluffier than what you’ll find at most run-of-the-mill bakeries. They’re inspired by the owner’s visit to Bangkok, where she stumbled upon a street stall selling traditional Thai bread.
Signature flavours range from savoury picks of Tomyam Chicken ($2.40) and Ikan Bilis ($2.40), to sweet renditions such as Thai Milk Tea Bun with Butter Sugar ($2.60) and Banana Kaya ($2.40).

Their mochi series is not to be missed, too. These mochi-filled buns come in trendy flavours including Black Sesame ($3.50) and Yam Floss ($3.50), where creamy orh nee is paired with sweet-savoury chicken floss. If you don’t mind splurging, consider their more premium lineup of Pumpkin ($4) and Purple Potato ($4)Â mochi buns.

Besides bread, the bakery also offers affordable whole cakes and old-school cakes—think Banana Cake ($7.50), Pandan Kaya Swiss Roll ($6.50) and more. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, they have an impressive selection of birthday cakes in flavours such as Traditional Black Forest ($38.80), Choco Banana ($35.80), and Modern Pandan ($38.80): pandan cake layered with gula melaka, desiccated coconut, and cranberry bits.
Thai Baang is located on Level 1 of the mall.
