A First Look At SG’s First Coach Coffee Shop—Loaded Sandwiches, Matcha And More

The Coach Coffee Shop opens at Weave RWS

Hot on the heels of the newly reimagined Coach Bar in Chinatown, the luxury fashion brand has now opened The Coach Coffee Shop at Weave—a new sustainable mall at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).

Unlike The Coach Bar, which is the world’s first, The Coach Coffee Shop is a tried-and-true international concept, with similar outlets in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Tokyo. The Singapore outlet features Coach’s signature Americana vibe, alongside a menu comprising pastries, drinks, desserts and more.

A crowd favourite is the Fully Loaded Reuben ($30++), a winning combination of tender corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and melty Swiss cheese, slathered with Russian dressing and stuffed between two slices of freshly baked sourdough. If you aren’t a big eater, the Reuben ($19++) offers the same tasty sandwich with a lighter portion of corned beef.

Each plate comes with a side of crunchy gherkins and lightly salted chips, a welcome pause between hearty, meaty bites.

The Grilled Cheese ($13++) is another banger, featuring a cheesy trio of American cheddar, extra sharp cheddar, and gruyere, paired with sweet caramelised onions and tangy mustard seeds, all served alongside a comforting bowl of tomato soup.

We recommend dunking your sandwich into the tomato soup for the ultimate flavour combo, or to mellow down the rich, cheesy melt with a burst of tangy freshness.

The cafe also offers sweet pastries, including glazed crullers. If you have a sweet tooth, the Maple Glazed Cruller ($5.50++) is a must-try, coated with a glossy maple glaze that carries a subtle earthy sweetness.

Between the two that we tried, the Raspberry Glazed Cruller ($5.50++) was our favourite, thanks to its sweet yet tart glaze, adding a fruity tang to each bite.

Apart from pastries, the cafe offers creamy soft serves.

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Soft Serve (from $8++) won us over with its purple and white swirl, offering sweet, malty flavours with a hint of berry jam.

Don’t miss out on the Singapore-exclusive Chilli Crab Soft Serve (from $9++), a sweetsavoury treat with tangy tomato undertones and a subtle spice. Topped with a mantou biscuit, its addictive crunch was a bonus, complementing the smooth soft serve well.

They’ve got plenty of specialty drinks too, from fixed menu favourites to seasonal delights.

Their Orange Cream ($9++) is a summer special, featuring zesty orange fizz topped with orange vanilla cream. You also get a crafted “C” shaped popsicle, made from fresh orange juice for a tangy kick.

The Strawberry Matcha Latte ($9++) is another seasonal drink, which blends ceremonial grade matcha with crushed fresh strawberries and a light strawberry foam, the perfect quencher for summer.

Apart from the food and drinks, get your hands on one of The Coach Coffee Shop’s cute and exclusive merch! Otherwise, shop for the brand’s fashion products in their adjacent store.

Coach fans can also look forward to the opening of The Coach Restaurant at Changi Airport’s Jewel, which has a similar concept in Jakarta. The opening date is yet to be confirmed.
