The Daily Cup opens in YishunÂ
Bishan residents might know of The Daily Cup, a humble kiosk in Bishan North Shopping Centre that specialises in authentic Ipoh kopi and toast. Good news, they recently opened a new outlet in Yishun! And here’s even better news: they’ve also launched two new items on the menu, including a taro-flavoured croissant and Biscoff caramel latte.Â

Their Signature Croissant comes in five different flavours: Yam, Ipoh Tea, Black Sesame, Key Lime, and Egg Mayo. Each flaky croissant is packed with a sweet flavoured cream, and here comes the best part—you can get four pieces at a wallet-friendly price of $9.90. Else, you can get one for $2.80. These croissants are available at both outlets, and are part of the brand’s permanent menu.Â

To add on, The Daily Cup is on a roll with their newly launched Biscoff Caramel Latte (price TBD). You get a cup of iced latte topped with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and bits of Biscoff crushed into fine pieces. If you have a sweet tooth, this drink is made for you. This, too, is part of the permanent menu, and you can get it from both branches.Â
While you’re there, give their Ipoh-inspired drinks a shot. Their bestseller Ipoh White Coffee ($2.50) is great for those who are new to Ipoh coffee, as well as those who can appreciate a good balance of acidic and sweet flavours. Otherwise, we recommend the Almond Jelly Coffee ($3.80) for something different. Pair your choice of drink with their Tamago Sando ($4.50), and you get yourself a hearty breakfast or snack.Â
