With our little red dot turning 58 years old this year, we’re already expecting the National Day celebrations to come in full swing by the end of this month. Mark your calendars, because The Marmalade Pantry is commemorating Singapore’s birthday with a special high tea set from 1 August to 31 October 2023!

Indulge in specially curated renditions of local favourites with the Singapore Heritage Afternoon Tea Set ($78++ for two persons), featuring a two-tiered high tea set with five sweet treats and five savoury delights.

The high tea set also comes in a simpler version, the Singapore Heritage Petite Afternoon Tea Set ($64++ for two persons) with eight items—suitable for diners with a smaller appetite. This works out to just $32++ per diner! This tea set is only available at The Marmalade Pantry Petite Bugis.

Expect new sweet offerings such as the Kueh Salat Petite Cupcake, The Marmalade Pantry’s take on Singapore’s well-loved traditional dessert. This cupcake sees chewy mochi hidden within the core, topped with pandan mascarpone frosting and dried blue cornflower.

A full-sized version of the cupcake is also available at $6++ from July to September.

Another sweet treat is the Gula Melaka Mousse Cake, featuring a vanilla sponge with gula melaka mousse, sitting atop a crunchy base of ground coconut flakes and biscuits. There’s also Panna Cotta With Raspberry Coulis, a red and white number that pays homage to the colours of the Singapore flag. This fruity item consists of velvety smooth panna cotta paired with tart raspberry coulis.

In the savouries department, you get the Beetroot Rojak Shooter, starring a mixture of diced beetroot, pineapple, guava, and Japanese cucumber, paired with house-made vegetarian rojak sauce.

The Hainanese Chicken Quinoa is also another new savoury item, comprising chicken breast served on top of a deep-fried quinoa patty, then drizzled with house-made garlic chilli sauce.

You’ll also get two pots of Monogram Tea per afternoon set to cleanse your palate in between bites.

The high tea sets are also available for delivery or self-collection, and come with a foldable plaid pattern box for your very own DIY afternoon tea display.
