We Visited SG’s First Table Tennis Bar And Cafe At New Bahru

TopTable is SG’s first table tennis bar and cafe

You practice your serves, while they serve up food and drinks—that’s what you’re getting at TopTable. It is Singapore’s first table tennis-themed bar and cafe, and you’ll find it located within the lifestyle enclave New Bahru.

TopTable features a dedicated bar, dining tables, and plenty of table tennis setups—complete with bats and balls so you can play right away. Most of the tables here are from Stiga, the famous Swedish brand, so serious players will appreciate the quality.

Those who aren’t inclined towards table tennis can opt for beer pong instead, or even darts—there are two dart boards installed in a corner.

If you’re looking for a game, prices start from $13++ per person for 55 minutes of playtime. Those going with three or more people can opt for Group Packages, which start from $170++ and include 85 minutes of games, as well as food and drinks. You can look at all the rates on this page.

Speaking of food, TopTable has a decent range of pizzas for you to feast on. Many of these are classics, such as Margherita ($20++), Pepperoni ($28++), and Prosciutto ($30++). Our favourite was the Prosciutto, thanks to the salty, crisp-edged ham and punchy tomato sauce.

There’s also a Chilli Crab Pizza (price TBD), available for a limited time only. With shreds of crab meat, a sweet-spicy chilli sauce, and caramelised onions for extra richness, we found this homage to the iconic Singaporean dish surprisingly good!

The pizzas featured a thin crust with nicely charred edges, though the sides weren’t as puffed up as those on a traditional Neapolitan pie.

You’ll also find bites including Tater Tots ($12++) and TT Fries ($15++), as well as Tiramisu ($14++), Gelato (from $6++) and other desserts.

When it comes to drinks, the bar’s got you covered with beers, liqueurs, and cocktails, each with table tennis-themed names such as Smasharita ($19++) and Pong-jito ($19++). Not into alcoholic drinks? Opt for an Ice Cream Float (from $9++) and even a Matcha Latte ($9++)!

So if you’re looking for a new spot that scores points for both food and fun, TopTable should be on your radar!
