Torikizoku Express has famous yakitori at One Raffles Place
CBD workers hunting for a quick, affordable lunch spot are about to get another option, as Torikizoku prepares to open its third Singapore outlet at One Raffles Place by September 2026. This time, the popular Japanese yakitori chain is trying something it has never done anywhere in the world: a grab-and-go kiosk format called Torikizoku Express.
Japan-Famous Torikizoku Opens At VivoCity With $3.90++ Yakitori—Is It Worth A Try?
This comes hot on the heels of Torikizoku’s second SG outlet, which opened at 18 Cross near Telok Ayer MRT Station in August, just months after its debut at VivoCity. In Japan, the chain is known for its no-frills pricing, with skewers, sides, and rice bowls typically going for a flat rate. That same value-driven approach carries over to its Singapore outlets.
Torikizoku Express is designed specifically for CBD professionals who want their yakitori fix without sitting down for a full meal: think quick lunches, snacks between meetings, or takeaway dinners on the way home. The menu leans into convenience, with yakitori skewers and the all-new Tori Takikomi Gohan (Japanese Chicken Rice) Onigiri starting from $2.20++.
For something more substantial, bento sets start from $10+ and come with a customisable choice of three yakitori skewers, paired with a base of either rice or salad.
Alongside the new opening, Torikizoku is also refreshing its menu across all three Singapore locations from 17 September, with a new Signature Picks range priced at $5.90++. This range includes heartier portions of familiar favourites such as Chicken Kamameshi, Teriyaki Chicken Donburi, Chicken Nanban, and Grilled Liver with Sesame Oil. The rest of the regular skewer and side dish menu remains at $3.90++.
