Wolfrik’s Pizzeria Has Asian Fusion Pizza Under $15 In SMU—Flavours Include Unagi And Wagyu Foie Gras

Wolfrik’s Pizzeria in SMU

Update: Wolfrik’s Pizzeria is now permanently closed.

SMU is steadily becoming a hot place to go to for quality eats in Dhoby Ghaut. You have Obok Dabang, a Korean cafe serving croffles and Einspanner coffee, and Onalu for housemade sweet and savoury bagels. Now, there’s Wolfrik’s Pizzeria, which serves up Asian-fusion pizza from $9.

Gourmet pizzas at an affordable price point is a rarity in Singapore, which makes Wolfrik’s Pizzeria doubly worth the visit. All the pizza dough here is made with premium Italian flour, fermented for 48 hours, and then cooked at 500°C to achieve the characteristic leopard spots of Neopolitan pizza.

Pizzas are available as 9″ or 12″. The former starts at $9 when you choose a flavour from the Classico range, such as Margherita or Spicy Hawaiian.

Their Specialita Fusione is where you find their Asian spins on pizzas.

The Peking Duck (from $11) sees thick, chewy dough topped with smoky roast duck and green onions, as well as fresh cucumber for bite. Seafood lovers can choose between the Singapore Chilli Crab (from $12), with chunks of actual crab meat and chilli crab sauce, or Garlic Butter Prawns (from $11), for an aromatic, sweet-salty combo.

Even their premium flavours in the Premio range don’t run too expensive. Most of these start at $12, including the Japanese Unagi, which comes with actual chunks of grilled eel atop your pizza. There’s also the Wagyu Foie Gras flavour, with actual thin-cut MB4+/5 grade Wagyu, foie gras, and an onsen egg.

Finish off your meal with their sweet pizzas, such as the Nutella Strawberry ($13). If you’re not big on pizza but want to enjoy your experience, Wolfrik’s Pizzeria also sells burgers from only $6, and sides to munch on.
