We first reviewed Yakiniku Warrior at Geylang for their affordable yakiniku platters, which are served right out of their hawker stall. Those who stay in the South-West can now look out for Yakiniku Warrior’s second outlet, opening on 3 July 2021. They will be offering up their barbecued meat at Bukit Merah.Â
The variety of barbecue meats and cuts here ranges from Wagyu Steak Set ($17 for 120g), Karubi Set ($7 for 100g) to Chicken Set ($6 for 100g). If you are looking for a variety, order their Beatbox Set ($12 for 250g) which is a value-for-money set comprising chicken, beef, and pork.
Although each order comes with a bowl of fluffy white rice and a side of vegetables, you can also get Assorted Vegetables ($2), which comes with bell peppers, onions and more. These fresh vegetables will help to uplift some of that potential jelak-ness when having your meat platters. You can also add an Onsen Egg ($1) as a dipping sauce, adding an extra silkiness to your barbecued meats.
In conjunction with the opening, Yakiniku Warrior will also have a promotion of a new ala carte item, the Pork Jowl ($6 for 100g), which isn’t available at their first outlet. This promotion will run from 3 July to 3 August 2021.
We strongly recommend visiting near their opening hours at 6pm to avoid disappointment as their items are while stocks last only.
