Not many know of 153 Traditional Cuisine as this stall is such a hidden gem that there isn’t even a Google location tag or social media platform. But worry not, we’re here to introduce this great spot to you foodies—they serve your local breakfast fare such as bee hoon, chee cheong fun, mee siam and more. Plus, nothing on the menu costs more than $4!

The stall owner, Mr Ong, left his job at a multinational corporation for the hawker life in 2019. Since then, he has been opening his stall at 5:30am every weekday, serving breakfast to those working or residing in the area.

A plate of their Fried Bee Hoon costs $1 on its own, and the toppings cost even less. These include Luncheon Meat ($0.60), Stir-fried Vegetables ($0.70), and Sunny Side-Up Egg ($0.70). Your meal is guaranteed to be super affordable here.

The Chee Cheong Fun (from $1.60) is also super popular. Frequent visitors love the silky and bouncy rice rolls drenched in sweet and umami zhup. We recommend getting the Chee Cheong Fun + Yam Kueh (from $2) so that you can get two dishes in a plate, which is of a better value. Plus, the yam kueh is house-made!

Patrons also like their Mee Siam ($3) served with a sweet gravy and chilli sauce, which are said to be house-made. BTW, you can also order the bee hoon toppings to add to your bowl of mee siam!
