There’s A Huge Hari Raya Kuih Bazaar At KINEX With Wholesale Prices

If you’re shopping for your Hari Raya goodies this Ramadan, you have to check out Istana Kuih, a huge bazaar housing over 1,000 types of Hari Raya kuih. Expect wholesale prices here, with most goodies under $20!

The fair is held at the open-air atrium of KINEX mall, a stone’s throw away from the famous Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar. It runs from now till 30 March 2025.

There are over 1,000 Hari Raya goodies to choose from, ranging from the classic Rempeyek Kacang ($10.90)—savoury, spiced Indonesian-Javanese crackers studded with peanuts—to trendy, Nutella-stuffed cookies.

You’ll also find traditional Tart Mawar ($15.90) AKA pineapple tarts here, a staple at any Raya gathering.

We spotted many bottles of Tart Ondeh ($14.90) too; these ondeh-inspired cookies feature a melt-in-the-mouth pandan base with a dollop of gula melaka and coconut topping.

The Tart Pandan Coklat ($15.90) is another crowd pleaser that will surely be a hit with the kids. These buttery cookies are topped with sweet chocolate cream and chopped nuts.

If you see Malaysian brand Kak Ida’s Kitchen at the bazaar, get their Bangkit Cheese ($13.90) and Red Velvet Brownies Cookies ($13.90).

We enjoyed the Red Velvet Brownies Cookies, which were paper-thin, crispy, and studded with chopped nuts for added crunch. These cocoa and vanilla cookies had just the right amount of sweetness, making them dangerously addictive.

Istana Kuih runs for a limited time only, till 30 March, so grab the fam and head down to stock up on your Raya goodies!
