Lo Hey HK Seafood Review: Legit “Typhoon Shelter”-Style Stir Fried Crab At Holland Village
From 11:30am to 4pm on Monday to Friday, bring your loved ones to feast on a variety of Hong Kong favourites, served straight to your table at unlimited quantities. Note that a group of four or more is required to enjoy this deal.
There is a total of 30 free-flow dishes, alongside a selection of premium one-time items to choose from.
Premium items include the Typhoon Shelter Style Fried Crab. For the uninitiated, the dish derived its name from the sheltered waters in Hong Kong, where fishermen would seek refuge during storms.
During our visit to the restaurant, we found the crab tender and juicy, with each piece of meat well-coated in the sweet-salty cereal.
Alternatively, go for the Wok Fried Uni Mayo Prawn Balls, featuring plump, bouncy prawn balls that are first deep-fried, and then doused in creamy uni mayo.
If seafood isn’t your thing, go for the LO HEY Tossed Chicken Salad instead, starring poached chicken, crunchy cucumber, fragrant ginger, fresh carrots and more, tossed in tangy vinaigrette and served lo hei style! The chicken in this dish is delightfully succulent, tender, and juicy.
Premium items aside, some all-you-can-eat items include the Deep Fried Squid with Salted Egg: crispy, plump squid generously coated in creamy salted egg sauce.

There’s also the Steamed Pork Patty with Dried Cuttlefish, which features a tender minced pork patty that’s topped with a few pieces of dried cuttlefish for added brininess.
For carbs, go for the Stir-Fried Crispy Noodles with Seafood and Egg Gravy: classic Cantonese-style pan-fried egg noodles in a comforting gravy.

Pair it with the delicious Sizzling Choy Sum in Claypot with Tai O Shrimp Paste that combines the fresh shrimp from Tai O, a famous fishing village in Hong Kong, with stir-fried choy sum.
Lo Hey HK Seafood is located on the third level of One Holland Village. For easy access, it’s a short three-minute walk from Holland Village MRT Station.
