Jellycat-themed cafes and food plushies have been popping up left and right in Singapore lately, and it seems like the obsession isn’t dying down anytime soon. We now have home-based cafe slash bakery Sumopocky coming up with artisanal Jellycat-inspired macarons in different shapes and forms.

This Cafe Has A Jellycat-Inspired Menu With $28+ High Tea, Adorable Cakes And More

Sumopocky is a home-based bakery in Dakota, and has garnered over 5K followers on their Instagram account with their stunning customised desserts, from macarons to cakes. Now, they’ve rolled out a new home cafe menu, where you can get brownies, drinks, and of course, the Jellycat-inspired macarons, available for takeaway only.

Their Jellycat-themed macarons come in 10 different designs, complete with a variety of fillings. Do note that they’re a small-batch bakery, meaning items are offered in limited quantities and are only available through pre-orders.

Thankfully, we were lucky enough to try four of their newly launched macarons. Each piece is priced at $3.

The first macaron we got was the Croissant, baked with a cheeky smile, just like the real plushie. This was so adorable that we almost couldn’t bring ourselves to take a bite!

Its delicately crisp macaron shell gave way to a velvety smooth Earl Grey cream.

We also had the Cherry, featuring two happy cherry bulbs.

We enjoyed its filling, which was sweeter than the Croissant’s and carried notes of tart raspberry. The added crunch from crushed raspberry seeds was a nice touch, too.

Next, we had the Tarte Aux Fraises, which had the same fruity filling as the Cherry macaron.

The Birthday Cake was our favourite of the lot. It resembled a chocolate cake, complete with a red and white striped candle.

The macaron was piped with a dark brown filling, which had a strong cocoa flavour perfect for chocolate lovers.

Apart from their macarons, you can get the Fudgy Brownie ($3.50).

We loved its crisp top and fudgy, dense core, boldly flavoured with bittersweet cocoa!
