With the end of Circuit Breaker measures in sight, Singaporeans can start counting down to slurping their favourite bubble tea IRL, hopefully, by the end of this month. One stall that’s looking forward to peddling its delicious drinks to the masses is After Coffee, a new dessert shop that’s soft opening on 15 June 2020.
Helmed by celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee, After Coffee will be selling a range of eclectic bubble tea drinks such as salted egg yolk fresh milk, Red Bull coffee, cherry tomato coffee and more. Besides these drinks, the shop will also carry a variety of desserts such as ice cream and mango puree—which explains why it’s allowed to operate during this period.

As a hardcore fan of salted egg yolk dishes, I will definitely get the Ultraman ($7.50). Named after the famous Japanese superhero, this drink boasts crushed salted egg biscuits mixed with fresh milk to create a rich smoothie. It’s then topped with brown sugar pearls for spurts of sweetness.Â

If you need that surge of caffeine to make up for the loss of productivity as you work from home, try the Matador ($6). It combines the two drinks that are most guilty of sleepless nights, Red Bull and coffee, into one ultra-potent concoction.

Given the timing of After Coffee’s opening, you won’t be able to dine in there just yet. However, come 15 June 2020, you can dapao their drinks and even use apps such as WhyQ, GrabFood and Foodpanda to have ‘em delivered to you.
